Dry needling may help relieve the pain caused by musculoskeletal dysfunction through relaxing muscle trigger points. 

Trigger points are tight and commonly sore points in the body that develop due to strain, overuse or injury and can refer pain and create dysfunction in other parts of the body.

Cupping is an ancient therapy that uses suction from glass, silicone, or plastic cups to lift tissue both statically and actively, increasing blood flow and aiming to relieve muscle pain, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation. 

Common in Traditional Chinese Medicine and, more recently, for sports recovery, it acts like a deep tissue massage to improve circulation, soften adhesions, and release fascia.
